Annual Scout Guide Orienteering is on again!

This is a great opportunity for all Scouts and Guides to put into practice their map and compass training and participate in the fun and challenge of the worldwide sport of Orienteering and Rogaining. F1 Important Information and Reminders!

Your Group would have recently received the new F1 Form to complete. Please use this new form and not old versions. Any F1s completed on an old form will be sent back for resubmission. Please return your completed F1 toempa@scoutswa.com.au by Friday 25 March 2016, earlier is always appreciated, as BHQ auditing commences on 1 April. A blank F1 form can be found in MyScout.

Lotterywest Block Grant Application Open!

The Lotterywest Block Grant Applications are now open! If you are interested in securing funding for your Group, please review the following information here, complete the Application form here and return it to the Executive Assistantempa@scoutswa.com.au at BHQ before 25 March 2016. Late submissions will not be accepted. You can also find these forms on MyScout.

Outdoor Recreation for Venturers

Expression of interest for Outdoor Recreation for Venturers 2nd intake 2016 is now open. The course is held over 18 months and includes Adventurous Activities in abseiling, bushwalking and canoeing. This program can be used to gain the VET Units of Competency for the Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation through Scouts Australia Institute of Training (via RPL) as well as WACE credits. The Importance of Keeping Correct Records

Group Leaders, it is vital that a Record of Participation Form (RP) is completed and retained for each activity the Sections from your Group attend. Additionally, a Roll Call for weekly Section Meetings is also essential. On the RP form and the Roll Call form all youth, Leaders, registered Adult Helpers and any other adults who were assisting at any Section Meeting, camp and one day event must also be listed. The RP form is attached here for your convenience and can also be downloaded from MyScout.
