Lone Scouts

Scouts WA provides opportunities for young people who, because of isolation through distance or other circumstances, who are unable to be a regular member of any section within a Group, for them to join the Lone Scout Group. The aim of the Lone Scout Group is to provide Scouting for all youth members who cannot attend normal active meetings to have the opportunity to experience Scouting. Lone Scouts enjoy a very similar experience to that of their formation counterparts, Scouting activities are planned through the Lone Scout Leader for their respective section and supported by an Adult Helper in the local community. Lone Scouts come together at times throughout the year for camps, Branch and other activities.
